Restorations 2005-2010

 Rome Sapienza Expedition to Khirbet al-Batrawy carries on an overall project of restorations of the main excavated buildings by means of ancient-like special mortar. The following buildings have been restored and rehabilitated:

- the EB II-III Main City Wall in Area B North, 2.9-3.2 m wide and up to 2.5 m high;

- the EB II City-Gate in Area B North, where the door-jambs 3.6 m wide and up to 2.3 m high were carefully restored, as well as the façade of the city-wall in its upper section;

- the EB II-III Temple in Area F, on the easternmost terrace of the site;

- the EB IIIB quarter of dwellings and public buildings in Area B South, just inside the EB II-III Main City Wall on the northern side of the site.
